About the scent

Elemi and saffron open Aoud Musk with an aromatic, gently resinous edge. Violet, clove, patchouli and oud bring a darkly floral, spicy heart, while sandalwood, amber, musk and oakmoss give the base a smooth, earthy depth. Montale describes the scent through the interplay of ambergris, saffron, ebony, musk and oud.
