About the scent

Inspired by an enamelled dragonfly that echoes the motifs of Japanese art, Illusion Captive 1898 lifts bergamot and jasmine over a rich, glowing amber. Labdanum, myrrh and cinnamon add resinous spice, and tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli and cedarwood round it into something warm and intricate.
